ELITEAM is all about building “complete athletes” and nutrition is part of that package. So that means it’s part of the Dig Deep 2020 program too! To create the sports nutrition content for this program we teamed up with Megan Chacosky, MS, RD, CSSD, USOPC. In her full time role as a sports dietician and performance chef, Megan works with high level athletes from 12 Olympic sports.
When she’s not sharing food directly with elite level athletes in her performance travel chef role, Megan is sharing safe & effective sports nutrition information in applicable, food first examples so athletes – of all ages and competition levels – can be empowered to maximize both health and performance.
Megan is passionate about helping athletes learn how to love and enjoy food, as well as helping them understand how it fuels their bodies. Hmmmm… sounds like an excellent match for ELITEAM!
For athletes, food is fuel, and quality fuel is KEY. If you want to your body and brain to perform at their very best, eating nutrient dense foods will give you a boost of energy, build and repair your muscles, keep your body healthy and your brain sharp!
