Today at ELITEAM…
We got “STRONGER” by completing 250 pushups! And that was the minimum. I know of two campers who completed 350!
In the morning, we finished up with our Ropes Course and Gym/Agility rotation. Drier conditions made for easier conditions so the campers pushed farther both on the field and in the trees. This afternoon we hit the Sandpits which is always a camper favorite. The pits were in excellent condition, primed for some serious competition. After 3 training runs, each camper took one race run… it was all or nothing!!!
After dinner we danced a little, did our Crazy Agility Relays and held the Jello Drop competition. And for the first time in our 27 year history, a camper team beat all the staff teams to take the title!!! The campers were psyched and the staff a bit embarrassed, but impressed.
Tomorrow is all about “FASTER” with the ELITEAM Olympics on the schedule. We’ll have 7 teams going head to head! We invite you to join us at 10am to watch and cheer. Meet at the RPC (new gym) at 10am.

What was your favorite activity today and why?
Ema Claire L- Sandpits because they were super FUN, challenging and it was a course so it felt like you were skiing.
Hannah B- I liked swimming because it cooled me off and it reminded me of home.
August D- Sandpits because the course was amazing, and the challenge and competition made it entertaining.
Eliza D- Swimming because I jumped in in my clothes.
Izzi H-C- The ropes course because you get stronger.
Sonja P- Sandpits because it’s something that you can only experience at Eliteam.
Aleks T- Sandpits because we were having a workout and it felt like you were skiing.
