Next came the Obstacle Course, which parents will see on Saturday. One inspection run, then one race run. Fifty seconds of anaerobic fun! … 5 steps, 7 gates, 8 bunny hops, 3 hulas, 1 swing, 14 tires & 1 log jump. Memorization is key.
After a pasta load and salad fix, it was back to the field for agility work. High knees, grapevine, jumping and more. That was followed by relay races involving balloons, bandanas, and Mad River Rockets. Finally it was relaxation time on the soccer field while the sun set. 50 kids quiet, lying down, focused on their breathing, and reliving the day in their minds. Awesome.
On tap tomorrow- Ropes courses & leg routines in the morning. Cooking, dancing and more obstacle action in the afternoon. Rock Wall at night. Can't wait.
