Today was a plethora of awesomeness at ELITEAM!
We did circuits to train our Cardiovascular system to redline and then recover while having the best time all together rocking out. Ben’s group won the “I’m a Banana” Contest.
We pushed ourselves to the limit in hardcore Dodgeball where it was winner take all! And in the end when it was the campers versus the coaches… It was the campers that persevered!
We finally got to go upside down in the tramps following a progression of visualization, focus, and lots of practice. Everyone was more comfortable in the air after every session.
We Rollerbladed around cones, gates and jumped in the air with little to no skin lost! How lucky we were to have Myles the Rollerblade guy on hand to teach us all the secrets.
And we cooked Black Bean brownies while learning about Proteins, Carbs, and Fats and how they fuel us in different ways. Everyone had a taste of their own creation. We will finish them off before the Movie tonight!
Wednesday will be another full day starting off with the annual Sandpit Dual Slalom race followed by Popsicles and a swim. Then it will be an afternoon of Boxing, more Tramps and some Partner Yoga! It is also Dress-up night and we will show off our Crazy Hats, Fanny Packs and ELITEAM Shirts! Finally we will settle in to watch an inspirational movie!
Oh, and another 200 Burpees!
