Today at ELITEAM…
We got a little tougher! Our theme this summer is “Tougher, Stronger, Fitter, Faster”, so this afternoon we broke into five groups and rotated through a variety of challenges to work on each of these aspects:
Burpees- 100 burpees in 10 minutes… talk about digging deep! TOUGHER
Boxing- Coach Zack led a challenging upper body and core strength workout. Lots of excited aggression in this one! STRONGER
Memorization game- Train your brain! We love to work the Sports Psych side of athletics. Our bodies AND our minds need to be fit. FITTER
Bergundtal- Where speed, agility and risk all come together. FASTER
The Nitro- Teamwork is the only way to succeed! This week we are one big ELITEAM Family.
We refueled with a big pasta dinner and kept the action going with an Agility Pole workout and Crazy Relays. With so many new athletes joining us, they were a bit confused at first by some of our unconventional moves (ever heard of high-knee-butt-kicks?!), but they quickly got the hang of things and we were all sweating, smiling and grooving together on the field.
Check the EC photo gallery in the morning to see shots of all of our Day 1 action!
